"Close"
​"Working on the painting and edition for JDRF, I immediately thought of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel fresco - God reaching out to man in the creation, not quite touching, and drawing of Leonardo DiVinci's formula of Light Reflecting Through a Mirrow. The reflection of God and Man brought together by the insulin needle for the victim of Juvenile diabetes.
The title, "Close", is today's story of hope. With our help there may no longer be a need for the needle and God and man will touch."

Darryl has prepared an edition of "Close" prints in his
studio on Captiva Island, Florida.
There are only 40 numbered and signed prints available in this series,
and a certificate of authenticity will be issued with
each print purchased in support of JDRF.
The print and certificate are both signed by Darryl.
